Tyler Man Convicted of Murder

TYLER — A Tyler man is facing up to life in prison after being convicted of murder. A jury Tuesday found Marquel Jermon Scott, 33, guilty of the November 26, 2012, shooting death of Keeston Fields, 26. The shooting occurred early that morning at the Hyena’s motorcycle club in north Tyler. The trial has now moved into the punishment phase.
