Tyler Man Injured in Ultralight Crash

PALESTINE — A Tyler man has been flown to Mother Frances Hospital after his ultralight plane crashed in Palestine. Hospitalized with non life-threatening injuries is Ronald Quencer, 55. A witness told investigators he was about 50 feet over the runway when the nose of the craft came down and he crashed. The accident happened around 3:00 Tuesday afternoon. The FAA is investigating the crash.
