One Killed in Marshall Accident

MARSHALL — A vehicle-pedestrian accident has killed a Marshall woman. It happened around 6:45 Friday morning in the area of U.S, Highway 80 also known as Victory Drive, and Mae Drive. KETK says the victim was Rufina Carbajal-Cortez, 61. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Police report she was trying to cross the road when hit by a west bound car. The investigation into the accident continues.
