Tyler Man Killed in Smith County Hit and Run

TYLER — State Troopers are investigating a Smith County hit and run accident that left one man dead. Jack Thomas Arnold, Jr., 43, of Tyler, was killed after being hit by a car around 10:00 Sunday night. Arnold was walking along Greenbriar Road when troopers say he was hit by a car that left the scene. Trooper Jean Dark with the Texas Department of Public Safety says more details will be released when they are available.
