Jacksonville ISD Follows Up on Bond Passage

JACKSONVILLE — Jacksonville’s about to bolster up a brand new elementary school. KETK reports voters approved a nearly $23 million school bond package this week. The majority of the money will be used to build on land previously owned by Lon Morris College. Jacksonville Superintendent Dr. Joe Wardell says school officials are grateful for the community’s support, and they’re wasting no time getting started. Wednesday, the district ordered a topographical survey to find the perfect location for the new elementary school
