Angelina County Death Under Investigation

LUFKIN — Angelina County authorities are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found along side a road. The call was received around 4:30 yesterday afternoon. The body was found north of Lufkin along sided Royce Oliver Road. An autopsy has been ordered to help determine the cause of death and to help identify the body. Authorities say, they are currently treating the death as a homicide.
