Jacksonville Fire Department Veteran Named Whitehouse Fire Chief

WHITEHOUSE — Jacksonville Fire Department veteran Madison Johnson has been named the newest chief of the Whitehouse Fire Department. KETK reports Johnson battled blazes in Jacksonville for about 13 years and has already been part-time as a Whitehouse firefighter. He starts full-time on Monday, working 24 hours on and 48 off. “Johnson met all the requirements and interviewed well,” said Whitehouse City Manager Kevin Chickadee. “Johnson has background in business he will be a great addition to the department and move it in the right direction.”
