Changes to Tyler Library Hours

TYLER — The Tyler Public Library will change its hours of operation beginning October 1. The new hours are:
* Sunday from 1:00pm to 5:00pm
* Monday through Thursday from 10:00am to 7:00pm
* Friday from 10:00am to 6:00pm and
* Saturday 10:00am to 5:00pm.
“The number of hours that the Library is open has stayed the same,” said City Librarian Mary Vernau. “Our goal is to offer some consistency in times. This also gives families a chance to use the Library and go to evening programs like Starry Time Story Time on Thursdays at 6:00pm.”
The Library is located at 201 S. College Ave. in Downtown Tyler
