Drowning on East Texas Lake

LAKE MURVAUL — A two year old boy has drowned in Lake Murvaul. He is Kemper Jullian Francis Dziesinski, who appears to have gotten out of his bed, opened the back door to his home on County Road 198, and ended up in the lake. He was found floating in about three feet of water around 11:00 Sunday morning. The youngster was first taken to ETMC-Carthage. After doctors found a slight pulse, he was airlifted to LSU Medical Center in Shreveport. When doctors determined he was not responding to treatment, he was taken off life support Monday night. Authorities say they don’t suspect foul play, but Child Protective Services is conducting an administrative investigation.
