2013 Texas Rose Festival – Ladies’ Luncheon

TYLER — The 2013 Texas Rose Festival is drawing closer, and organizers say Celebrity Party Planner Colin Cowie will speak at the Festival’s Ladies’ Luncheon. It’s set for Friday, October 18, at 11:30 a.m., at CrossWalk Conference Center at Green Acres Baptist Church.
Cowie is an event planner to celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Aniston, Oprah Winfrey, Jennifer Lopez, and Tom Cruise. He is a regular on the Today Show and HSN and is the author of several lifestyle and entertaining books, which will be available at the Tyler Rose Museum Gift Store, The Writing Horse and Cole and Company. Born in Zambia and raised in South Africa, Cowie has a consulting business that works on international hospitality and design projects for hotels, retailers and airlines. According to a news release, he is an avid supporter of several charities focused on children’s education and health.
