Rainfall Welcome but Causes Numerous Problems

EAST TEXAS — It’s what East Texans have been waiting for in the midst of an extended drought, but the rain has been causing its share of problems too. The Tyler Fire Department responded to numerous weather-related incidents throughout the City. These include responses to stranded motorists, high water, and flooding in some homes. Multiple high water rescues have been performed by firefighters in several locations around the City of Tyler. Tyler Police responded to numerous wrecks throughout the city.
