Henderson County Shooting Victim Dies

PAYNE SPRINGS — A man shot by a Henderson County Sheriff’s deputy Monday night, has died. He has been identified as Daniel Richard Vasquez, 33. Around 9:15 Monday evening, deputies executed a narcotics search warrant in Hidden Hills Harbor. The shooting occurred during the execution of that warrant. Details concerning the circumstances surrounding the shooting have not been released. The Texas Rangers have been called in to investigate the shooting.
