Another Texan Charged in Louisiana ATM Theft Attempt

BOSSIER CITY LA. — A third person has been charged along with two East Texans with the attempted theft of an automatic teller machine from a Bossier City bank. The latest to be arrested was Zachary Allen Stone, 29, of Little Elm, in Denton County. Previously arrested was Carl Gearhart III, 29, of Tyler, (pictured) and Gerri Davis, 24, of White Oak. The three are said to have put a chain around the ATM and, using a pickup, pulled it from its foundation. They then drove off, leaving the ATM and money behind. Authorities spotted their pickup and chased it into Shreveport where it ran of Interstate Highway 20. Gearhart and Davis were arrested there, but Stone fled on foot.
