EAST TEXAS — Some men arrested for allegedly breaking into a house in Smith County recently may be facing more charges in two other East Texas counties. Officials say a homeowner caught the men in the act. One of the men reportedly told the homeowner he was with a local electricity company. They were charged with burglary of a habitation. The Wood County sheriff tells KETK news the men had been linked to five burglaries in that county and possibly some in Van Zandt County. He says they would be wearing Reliant Energy shirts when they committed those crimes. Investigators are working to charge the men in those cases.
