Nix Seeks Second Term on Commissioners Court

TYLER — Smith County Precinct 2 Commissioner Cary Nix announces he’ll seek a second term. Nix, a Republican, says he still has a lot of goals that haven’t been reached yet. He tells KTBB road and bridge funding is a priority with everyone on the Commissioners Court, but especially himself. Nix says he’s optimistic about the county’s long-range plan, and prospects for being proactive instead of reactive about road and bridge maintenance.
