TISD Releases 1st Day of School Attendance Numbers

TYLER — Opening day enrollment in the Tyler school district is off from opening day last year. First day enrollment for the 2013-2014 school year totaled 17,048, while enrollment for the first day of classes in the 2012-2013 school year was 17,319. School officials say first day of school enrollment numbers fluctuate from year to year, and District leaders anticipate enrollment changing in the coming weeks.
