Rusk County Added to Burn Ban List

HENDERSON — A limited burn ban has been issued for Rusk County due to drought conditions. According to KETK, the Commissioners Court ordered that all outdoor burning without proper precautions is banned in Rusk County for 90 days. Those precautions include seeing that fires are well attended and enclosed in a burn barrel/receptacle, water availability, no wind blowing, and permission from the local/volunteer fire department for large burns.
