Two Arrested after Allegedly Attacking Two Men

LONGVIEW — A man and woman are behind bars in Gregg County. According to KETK and the Longview News-Journal, Longview police say they attacked two men near Newgate Mission. Mary Johnson, 42, and Jason Green, 33, allegedly attacked a 76-year old man, reportedly beating him with his wooden walking cane. Another man saw what was happening and tried calling the police. That’s when Johnson and Green started attacking him as well, according to authorities. Police arrived and arrested the two. Both men suffered head injuries and we taken to a local hospital for treatment.
