Deputies Capture “Survivalist” Accused of Burglaries

NACOGDOCHES — A man wanted by authorities in Nacogdoches County for multiple burglaries has been caught by authorities, according to the Nacogdoches Sheriff’s Office. KETK reports Jeffrey Holliman, 50, is described as a “survivalist” who has allegedly been squatting in abandoned houses and in make-shift shelters. He is accused of stealing weapons, clothes, money, survival equipment, and large quantities of food from local houses and vehicles. Law enforcement was searching for stolen property at an undisclosed location. The burglaries are said to have taken place on Nacogdoches County Roads 411, 419, and 331.
