Kilgore Police Investigate Assault Case

KILGORE — Kilgore Police are investigating an aggravated assault and a possible attempted sexual assault. KETK reports it happened Saturday morning. Police were called for a victim suffering from several injuries. The victim had reported that she was walking on State Highway 42 sometime between 2:00 and 3:00am when she was offered a ride by several males in a 4-door pickup. She reported that the men displayed at least one weapon and attempted to sexually assault her. The victim said she fought with her attackers and told police that led to the additional injuries.
