East Texas Woman Arrested for Forgery

LONGVIEW — An Ore City woman has been taken into custody on a forgery charge. Monday afternoon a little after 4:45, Longview Police officers were dispatched to an alleged forgery in progress in the 700 block of West Marshall Avenue. When officers arrived, they were told a woman later identified as Dacquri R. Wright 20, had attempted to pay for her fast food order with a counterfeit $100 bill. Police located Wright in the drive-thru of the restaurant. Wright was arrested for third degree felony forgery and transported to the Gregg County Jail without incident.
