No Injuries, Driver to Be Cited in Train/SUV Collision

GRAND SALINE — The Grand Saline Police Department has issued updated information after a freight train collided with an SUV in the city’s downtown area. Police said Thursday that no one was injured in the wreck, but that the driver of the SUV would be cited. The crash happened shortly before 11:45 Tuesday morning as the driver reportedly tried to beat the train at the crossing. The driver was accompanied by a woman passenger.
