Texas Man Drowns in Oklahoma’s Mt. Fork River

BROKEN BOW, OKLA. (AP) – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has recovered the body of a Texas man who drowned in the Mountain Fork River. Troopers say the body of Eric Wayne Fant, 26, of Texarkana was found Saturday afternoon. Investigators say witnesses said Fant jumped into the river from the US 70 bridge near Eagletown and never resurfaced.
