Public Invited to Community Celebration for New ETMC Quitman

QUITMAN – Residents of all ages from Wood County and surrounding areas are invited to attend a community celebration and dedication of the new East Texas Medical Center Quitman, Sunday, July 14, from 1:00 to 3:00pm. “We are inviting the public to join us as we celebrate the completion of our new hospital facility – a major step in fostering ETMC’s goal of providing the highest quality healthcare to the people of Wood County,” said Warren Robicheaux, administrator of ETMC Quitman.

The new ETMC Quitman will open for patient care at 8:00 Monday morning. Hospital team members will begin the move-in process immediately following Sunday’s open house. The emergency department will move during the early morning hours Monday. Officials say no disruption in care is expected during the move.
