Two Teens Charged in Marshall Fire

MARSHALL — Two Marshall juveniles are being charged with arson after an early morning fire at the East Texas Open Door, a juvenile detention facility. The fire was reported just after 2:00 Saturday morning. The fire was quickly extinguished and no injuries were reported. The Longview News-Journal reports the two teenagers told Marshall police they were trying to rescue the sleeping residents of the facility. Further investigation led to the arrest of the two boys.
