East Texan Dies after Being Hit by Multiple Cars in Shreveport

SHREVEPORT LA. — Shreveport authorities say an Anderson County man has died after being hit by several cars. Dead at the scene was Curtis Bentley, 51, of Palestine. Investigators say his car hit several curbs and veered down an embankment along Interstate 220. He got out of the car when it came to rest on the shoulder of the interstate. It was then he was hit by up to 5 vehicles. The accident occurred around 11:00 Sunday night. The accident remains under investigation.
