Police Search For Suspect Who Stole SUV With Child Inside
Posted/updated on: July 2, 2013 at 5:30 pmGREGG COUNTY — Longview police are looking for a man who stole a vehicle late Sunday, with a 4-year-old girl sleeping in the back seat. According to the Longview News-Journal and KETK, police said the man stole the 2007 Dodge Durango at 10:37 p.m. Sunday when the driver left the car running to enter a store in the 1700 block of Mobberly Avenue. The vehicle was located a short time later in the parking lot of an apartment complex in with the child still asleep and unharmed.
Police described the man thick build, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall. He was wearing a white shirt with a red emblem on the left chest and a design on the back that police resembled a Papa John’s shirt, long black shorts and white sneakers with black laces, police said.
