Tyler Police Searching for Hit and Run Driver

TYLER — Tyler Police are investigating a hit and run accident. It happened around 10:00 Saturday night in the 400 block of North Beckham. According to authorities, the victim was attempting to cross the street on foot when he was struck by a car traveling south. The suspect vehicle failed to stop and fled the scene in an unknown direction. The vehicle was described as a white newer model Dodge Charger. The pedestrian was transported to East Texas Medical Center with minor injuries.
