Latest Rusk County Fatality

RUSK COUNTY — A one vehicle accident in Rusk County has left one person dead. The accident occurred around 7:15 Thursday night on State Highway 43. Dead at the scene was Martin de Jesus Carranza-Perez, 27, of Waco. He was reportedly not wearing his seat belt. According to the Department of Public Safety. He was heading southwest when he lost control of his car, which hit a guardrail and overturned.
