Two Arrested in Longview Shooting

LONGVIEW — Two persons are in custody in connection with a Sunday shooting in Longview. Davian Leon Hopkins of Tatum (pictured) and Tre Lee Jackson of Easton, both 19, have been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Jackson is also charged, out of Marshall, with burglary of a habitation. The two are accused in the shooting around noon Sunday in the 600 block of Owings Avenue. The suspects were found hiding in the area. The victim, who was shot several times, is being treated at a Longview Hospital. His name has not been released.
