New Doctor at UT Health Northeast

Christina BratcherTYLER — Endocrinologist Christina Bratcher, MD, has joined UT Health Northeast. As an endocrinologist, she specializes in diagnosing and treating hormone imbalances that occur in diseases such as diabetes, osteoporosis, and thyroid disorders. Before coming to Tyler, Dr. Bratcher was a diabetes specialist at Diabetes America in Plano, where she had also served as director of clinical research. She has been an assistant professor of clinical medicine at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans.

Dr. Bratcher is a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology and has more than 12 years of experience as an endocrinologist. Her special interests include the various drugs used for type 2 diabetes and the use of insulin pumps and continuous blood-sugar monitoring in type 1 diabetes.

She completed a fellowship in endocrinology and metabolism at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City. Dr. Bratcher completed her residency in internal medicine at the OU College of Medicine in Tulsa., where she was chief resident. Dr. Bratcher earned her medical degree at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. She also has a pharmacy degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy in Oklahoma City.
