Van Flips, Damages Truck at Dealership

TYLER — A rain-slick road was a factor as a van flipped over and damaged a vehicle at an auto dealership on Tyler’s west side Thursday. Fire officials tell KETK the driver of the van was traveling down Walton Road, which is known to be extremely slick when it rains. As the driver approached Loop 323, he tried to stop and slid off the road. The van then jumped the curb, hitting a truck in the Tyler Ford parking lot, and flipped over. The driver was shaken up, but not injured.
