Trial Postponed in Sexual Misconduct Case

LONGVIEW — According to the Gregg County Sheriff’s office, the sexual misconduct trial for Jesse Smith, 33, and Cassandra Stone, 32, has been postponed until an unspecified later time. The trial was to have begun at 9:00 Monday morning. KETK reports the 188th District Court is meeting again today. Smith and Stone, both of Kilgore, are being held in the Gregg County Jail on multiple charges of sexual misconduct with a child. Court records show they were indicted in December.
