Man Hit by Train in Kilgore

KILGORE — A man was hit by a train and critically injured in Kilgore. KETK reports it happened just after 11:00 Saturday night, about a quarter mile west of Southport Road. Union Pacific Rail notified police of the incident, and police began searching for the man on the tracks. Police found him with serious injuries. He was taken to Longview Good Shepherd Medical Center, where he underwent emergency surgery and at last report was listed in critical condition. The man was identified as Armando Aguillar Lopez, 38, of Kilgore. Kilgore Police are investigating the accident.
