New Boston Police Chief Ousted

NEW BOSTON (AP) — The New Boston City Council has voted to remove the city’s longtime police chief. Kerry Pinkham says he doesn’t know why city leaders want him out. Council members say some people have complained that police aren’t doing a good enough job dealing with drug problems in the East Texas city of about 4,600.
