Tyler Robbery Under Investigation

TYLER — Tyler police are looking for two suspects who robbed a couple in the parking lot of the La Michoacana Meat Market at 310 North Beckham. It happened just before 8:45 Thursday night. The victims say they were approached by two men, one of whom asked to use their cell phone. He then pulled a gun, demanding their wallet and any money they had. After taking the victim’s property the suspects fled westbound on foot.

Both suspects were described as being in their late teens or early twenties. One of the suspects was said to be wearing a grey sweat shirt with black pants, about 5’10” and around 200 pounds. The second suspect was seen wearing a red, white and blue stripped shirt with tan shorts, was about 5’5″ and around 140 pounds. Neither victim was injured during the incident and the case remains under investigation.
