TYLER — Students at Tyler Junior College will pay more this fall. Thursday, the Board of Trustees took action to increase the out-of-district surcharge by $1, to $47 a semester. Trustees also voted to raise the general education fee by $3, to $40 a semester. School officials tell KETK they don’t want to burden students, but they say the extra money will help.
