Police Search for Armed Robbery Suspect, Release Video

TYLER — Tyler Police are looking for the suspect that robbed the Food Fast at 4201 University Boulevard, and they released video of the incident Monday. It happened just before 4:30 Sunday morning. The clerk told officers that he was taking out the trash when he was approached by an unknown black male with a handgun. The clerk was reportedly ordered back into the store where the suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled in an unknown direction. The clerk was not injured.
The suspect is described as 6’0 and thin, wearing a red hoodie, dark pants, red shoes and a black backpack. Anyone with information is asked to contact Tyler Police.
