Alleged Serial Burglar Arrested

TYLER — An arrest in a string of burglaries in Smith County. Monday sheriff’s deputies investigated a number of break-ins along County Road 191 in Flint, according to KETK. When deputies and a state trooper arrived on scene, they spotted Jermaine Lashone Kennedy, 21. Deputies say Kennedy was carrying a nylon bag filled with $6,000 worth of firearms and electronics stolen from three homes. Kennedy was booked into the Smith County Jail. He’s charged with burglary of habitation.
