Woman In Custody For Allegedly Stabbing Family Member

LONGVIEW — A Longview woman, accused of stabbing her stepgrandson with a knife and steak pitchfork, has been arrested by Longview police in her home in the 1100 block of Hutchings Boulevard. According to the Longview News-Journal, Tracy Johnson, 36, was charged with aggravated assault family violence with a deadly weapon. Johnson was in a fight with her stepgrandson and stepgranddaughter when she left the fight, went to the kitchen and reportedly retrieved the weapons, according to the probable cause affidavit for her arrest. A witness told police Johnson cut the victim on his left hand with the knife and steak pitchfork. Johnson was held Friday in the Gregg County Jail on a $7,500 bond.
