Trooper Not Injured In Wreck

RUSK COUNTY — Slippery roads are being blamed for a crash involving a state trooper Wednesday night. It happened just after 8:00 on Highway 259 near Kilgore’s Loop in Rusk County. According to KETK, the trooper’s car slid off the road, struck a culvert and ended up in the creek bed. The officer was not injured.
