Neches ISD Closed Due to Overturned Tanker

NECHES — Neches ISD officials closed schools for the day Wednesday due to an overturned tanker truck on FM 2574 and FM 19. That’s near an elementary school. School authorities tell KETK the district has been unable to run buses and has been forced to cancel classes as a precaution. Hazmat crews headed to the scene. Neches ISD classes had already been delayed until 10:00 a.m. Wednesday due to weather.
