18 DWI Arrests in Smith County Over New Years Holiday
TYLER — The multi-agency No-Refusal DWI campaign, December 28th through January 1st resulted in 18 DWI arrests with 2 search warrants were obtained for blood. The breakdown looked like this:
*DPS had 12 DWI arrests
*Tyler PD had 3 DWI arrests
*Smith County Sherriff’s Office had 1 DWI arrest
*Lindale PD had 1 DWI arrest
*Whitehouse PD had 1 DWI arrest
The 2 search warrants for blood were obtained by the DPS
