Authorities Search for Alleged Shoplifter

According to KETK, it happened Tuesday evening around 7:40 at the Lufkin Walmart on McCall Drive. Officials said a man was caught trying to leave the store with a brown bed comforter. Loss prevention team members approached the thief and he initially agreed to go with employees into an office. As they made it to the room, the bandit threw a worker to the ground and took off running. According to witnesses, the robber made it out of the store with the comforter, valued at about $50. The staff members reported minor injuries.
