Longview Police Working Multiple Criminal Mischief Cases

LONGVIEW — Police in Longview continue to investigate a rash of criminal mischief cases. During the early morning hours of Wednesday, police were dispatched to around 30 such calls, all involving some type of damage to vehicles. At this time the criminal mischief calls have been mainly in the area North of East Marshall Avenue and West of Bill Owens Parkway. Most of the calls involved vehicle windows being broken out. Several cars were also hit with eggs or some other similar substance. The criminal mischiefs are believed to have occurred in the late night or early morning hours.

If the person reporting the crime wishes to remain anonymous, he or she can also contact Gregg County Crimestoppers at 903-236-STOP. Longview Police encourage anyone observing suspicious activity to call police immediately at 903-237-1170.
