Liquor Stores Prepare for Competition

TYLER — Tuckers Beverage in Winona is already embracing Tyler’s new rules about alcohol. After the passing of Proposition 1 and 2 small town package stores are looking to stay competitive. Tucker’s and all Smith County package stores are now able to deliver beer and wine within Tyler City Limits and Precinct 2. The general manager of Tuckers Beverage, Jen Alderman, tells KETK it took them about a year to come up with their new business model. She says “It focuses kind of like on a pizza delivery model. where we can bring beer and wine to your door step.”
