Two Longview Men Arrested in Connection with Burglary

LONGVIEW — Two Longview men were arrested Thursday in connection with a burglary. LeDaryon Antwon Anderson, 27 (pictured) and Matthew Ewers, 38, were found standing next to a truck with antique collectibles inside. KETK and the Longview News-Journal report the antiques were allegedly taken from a nearby house earlier that day. Ewers and Anderson live in the 3400 block of Morrison Street. It’s the same block of the house where the items apparently came from. According to arrest affidavits, a witness told police she saw the men enter the vacant house and steal the items. They were charged with burglary and held in the Gregg County Jail on $10,000 bonds.
