Guns Stolen in Cherokee County

RUSK – Cherokee County authorities are investigating the theft of some guns near Rusk. A resident on County Road 1626 returned home late Friday afternoon to find his back door open and four guns missing. The rifles are described as follows:
*H & R 12 gauge shotgun, black in color
*Marlin Model 91, 22 caliber rifle with scope and brown wooden stock
*Ruger Model 1022, 22 caliber rifle with brown wooden stock
*Belgian made, Pieper Flobert, 32 caliber, rim fire, single shot rifle with octagon barrel (photo of similar rifle attached)
The total Loss is put at $2,000.
