Tyler Shooting Victim Identified, Suspects Sought

TYLER — Tyler Police have released the identity of a shooting victim. Authorities said Tarrington Joiner, 21, Tyler (pictured) was injured after an argument at a local club. Investigators were told that Joiner and two friends were at Outlaws on Highway 110 South Saturday night. Joiner reportedly got into an altercation with another man inside the club, then left. A tan Dodge Durango with large rims occupied by several men pulled up next to Joiner’s vehicle on Patriot at University and allegedly fired several rounds into Joiner’s vehicle. Joiner was struck by one round that entered his chest. His friend jumped into the driver’s seat and immediately drove him to the hospital. Joiner remains in stable condition at this time.

Anyone with information about the suspects involved in this crime is urged to contact the Tyler Police Department, at 903-531-1000, or Crimestoppers at 903-597-CUFF (903-597-2833). Crimestoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges filed against the suspects in this case or any felony case.
