Porn Recruiter on Kilgore College Campus

KILGORE – The Kilgore College Police Department is looking for a man who has been on campus trying to recruit porn actors. According to a posting on their Facebook page, the police department said, “this subject along with another came onto campus today and were passing out cards recruiting for the adult (porn) film industry. While this unto itself is not illegal, they created a disruption on campus and were not registered as guests in accordance to the College Rules of Conduct. If you see this person or any others of suspicious nature please call KCPD immediately.”

As long as the cards were handed to people who were 18 years of age or older, there was no crime. But, if he gave the card to someone under the age of 18, he could be charged with solicitation of a minor. But the man did break campus rules by not registering as a guest. The card the man was handing out said they could earn from $1,000 to $5,000 a day if they had what it takes. He asked students to text their photo to a number listed on the card and to wait to “be contacted for appointment for casting interview.”
